hey i am going to take off my front grill tomorrow and sand it all down and repaint black. black audi symbol and black out where the crome is around the whole grill.
anyways my question was how to take out the grill from the hood. it is pretty easy or is there a trick to it? anyways i just need a little push towards how it comes out of the hood.

 

They just have several clips holding it in place. They are very tight, but all you need to do is push them off the frame of the hood. Just try wiggling and pushing hard to loosen them. Watch your fingers! I cut my knuckles in a couple of places because I slipped.

i would definitely be interested, i've been thinking about doing it to my stock grill. the kamei grill is starting to bother me a little...but i just hate chrome.
