So there was a little mishap involving a patch of ice, 2ft tall brick wall, and my b5 a4, thus now i need a new front bumper. The shop the car is at is quoting me ~$1000 for a new one painted. I am curious what other options I should entertain other than simpling going with a new OEM one, such as a s4 or an rs4 if it'll save me some cash.

How much do after market ones go for? how is the quality compared to OEM?

i would get an s4 and do the grille mod to it, its absolutely beautiful. and you can pick up a brand new unpainted rs4 bumper on ebay (OEM) for 775 shipped, which is pretty good deal.

s4 or rs4, you cant really go wrong, they both look gorgeous.

get an aftermarket one for sure, $1000 is way steap for an oem one, if your gonna spend that much you can probably get an entire rs4 kit (but not the rear, please, its so ugly)

this whole thing happened back in January in Lake Tahoe. I've been at school, so the car has been in storage for when I could come back and deal with the whole thing. I'm now back, and dealing with it.

Anybody have some links? I've looked around at the aftermarket s4 and rs4 ones, and there are multiple brands. I don't have experiance with body kits, I just know that some (fiberglass) are shitty, and others that are abs are better. Links would be very helpful. thanks.
