NEED QUICK HELP!!!
Ok so i get up this morning and its 18 degrees outside and i start my car to warm it up and am on my way to work and at the last stop light i notice my car is idling very rough say between 750rpm and 2000rpm and flucuating (sp) rapidly [:@]. Does anyone have any ideas what the cause could be before i bring it to the stealership this morning at 10am to start bitching them out [>:]..... Ive never had a problem until NOW with this car. i ALWAYS use super unleaded 94 oct.
P.S. I have no access to a vag to get codes if there are any.

this happened to me... it could be a coolant temperature sensor that will make your mixture richer when it's colder out. If the sensor is bad, it'll cause the car to run too lean, and it's worse when it's cold. Are you getting the service engine soon light coming on??

No no service lights at all.. Everything is normal on the dashboard.
A couple weeks after I got my car last year I had the same thing happen to me. It was right after a very cold night - I'm in ND so thats like -35 to -40 below zero. my car wouldn't start and when it finally did, it started to rev up then down then up then down. Scared the **** out of me since I had just got it. The problem finally just went away and hasn't happened since -
Sorry I can't be any help either but the problem might just go away

Well I called the stealership and was told it prob is a coil pack and that they will do the diagnostic for free to find the problem. and that coil pack will cost $150 Ahhhhh!
Well Im back from the stealership and its deffinately not the coil pack!!! Its the new style PCV valve and its DEAD and because of that it is creading intense suction in the crank case as to where it makes it VERY difficult to take the oil cap off meaning that you need to pull REAL HARD to get it off and was told it is unsafe to drive it like that. Right now im trying to get it covered under warranty even though it is 100 miles out of warranty im working with AoA and the service manager at the dealership and was told they will need to look at their budget to see if thay will cover all or some of the cost.
Me either but it did and im a little uptight about it because im thinking whats to come next!!!!! And yeaaaaa its ALREADY out of warranty well i drive 130 miles a day three times a week and if i work OT then its another day or two plus a road trip to Pa and Ct and Sc a couple times.
I like to driiive.......
