I just got my 2004 A4 a week ago and I was trying to figure out how to program my garage door opener in the car. Can anyone help me with that. Thankx

 

It's on your manual, do you have one? Let me go look for my.

 

To program your garage door opener:

1. Press and hold the two buttons ( I and II ) until the light begins to flash. This will erases the factory-set default codes.
2. Press the button for the transmitting channel you wish to use ( I, II or III ) and keep holding this button until the light starts flashing slowly.
3. Take the original remote control for the garage to transmitter located in the front bumper. Point the remote control at the bumper below the right headlight (hold it close to the bumper).
4. Press and hold the activation button on the remote until the emergency lights flash 3 times ( after about 15 - 60 sec). You're done.
