ok i was just on my way to the auto show when i noticed my rpm's go to 0 and then my oil light came on and was blinking.. i just got my oil changed monday at the audi dealership, so i was sure it had oil...i checked it anyway and yep it was full. when i started the car up again it is idling rough "like when you first put in a chipped ecu". i drove home with no cel's coming on, nor any oil lights coming on....,i was just wondering if anyone has any ideas on what might have caused this to my 99 1.8..

 

No but check for stored codes.

Have someone check the oil pressure. A blinking oil pressure light means insufficient oil pressure. Watch out for now. Is the car running OK now and idling normally.

If the oil pressure light comes on again, shut the engine off Immediately and have it flat bedded.

 

it ran ok on the freeway on the way home, but was still idling funky...ill get someone with a vag to check for codes
