I am new to the forum, and I have a question about information. Does anyone know were I can find UBER specific information About engine sizes for B5 A4s (Such As height, width, depth, weight, etc.)? Also, Does anybody know where to get the same info for AUDI's diesel Engines, specifically the 4.2 LITER V-8? I also need to get gear ratios for the 5 speedmanual in the B5 A4. thanks to anybody who can help.

For the gear ratios, you can seach this forum, its on here, Ive seen it a few times.

For the record, get a 1.8t and bt it. If you want a v8, buy an s4. Its not an easy fit.

Yeah, that was all really helpful, but I am looking at the feasibility of swappinga big, nasty TDI V-8 into a B5 A4, so I need some really specific information. I need to know how much cutting of engine bay I'll need to do, whether I'll need to put in a crazy hood bulge, how much stronger the front suspension will need to be. So, if anybody can give me a website (or three) that will give me an idea of how hard it will be to stuff said big, nasty TDI into my little A4, that would be AWESOME[sm=happybounce.gif]. Thankee. BTW, yes I do know that it most likely will be just too crazy to do, but thats ok.
