Need sum help with this 1.8T!

Does anyone have any info On how I would change the dump valve? I am new to these forums, so any help would be much appreciated! If you could send me sum pics of the engine bay would be very helpful! I seem to have this problem where the car is very unresponsive on accelleration & not very smooth through the gears? I have read quite a few others with the same problem with the turbo engine. IS their much I can do to sort it out? I guess because I was driving a V6 Quattro before might have alot to do with the difference. I am looking to Drop it with 18s & full RS4 bodykit. As you can see the V6 had a kit on with 18s, but I felt it was getting on a bit. So I changed to a newer 1.8T. Which I thought was ok. But the more I drive it, the more I want a V6 again. Hope you can help!

If your having trouble with rough shifts you may need a new snub. They don't cost much, about 30-50 bucks depending on which one you go with.

This should get in you the area of the diverter valve/by-pass valve (not dump valve).

Isn’t your check engine light on? In our Jetta, we blew out the bypass valve twice and the check engine light came on both times (we were running 14.5 PSI).

Get a snub mount for smoother shifts, get a chip+Bosch 710N (or Bosch 110 Sport) BPV for more power.

Thats what I'm doing.
