how is it rice? I would think that greddy would be, or a muffler from ebay. Now All i really wanted was help, but I guess some people are not nice enough to help.

p.s.down pipe on the kit is 2.36inches, and the rest of the piping is 2.75 inches!

Either is fine, milltek is popular as well.
You can always replace just the muffler with a borla, and if you need the other piping as well, a shop can custom make it for you maybe a little cheaper than buying the whole thing.

But if it was me, I would go for a stainless catback setup, because it wont rust and will last the lifetime of the car. Good time to geta testpipe in there while you are at it.

don't EVER put anything neuspeed into your car. their exhaust is ricey. i have borla with 2.5" piping. its from techtonics, and i got mine for like 400 bucks (thank you Badluck) if your sticking with your k03 2.25" is fine, if your getting a k04 2.5", and if you plan on going BT 3" is what you'd want. Borla made their exhaust at 2.25" for a reason. because they did testing on what size exhaust performs best with stock/slightly modded A4's. you want some back pressure and mathcing your exhaust to your future plans is what you should be thinking of when buying it. so if your planning on upgrading the turbo just get borla or magnaflow muffler with custom piping, they sound the best IMO

I understand what you are saying, but you haven't proved how they are ricey...If I had the money I would but the full exhaust from techtonics, but its about 900 with downpipe..

I'm assuming you could run a BT setup on a Borla exhaust if you had a testpipe with no problems? Would that be correct?

If i am planning to go from my stock K03 to a K04 in the VERY near future, I will most likely want 2.5" pipes.

Is that what i understand?

Also i know this is a rookie b*tch question, what exactly does the downpipe and testpipe do? Or are they the same pipe?

Sorry i am VERY new to tuning, criticize if you feel the need haha

Downpipe comes off of the cat and goes... umm, down past the trans and hooks up with the midpipe.
Test pipe REPLACES the cat.

And I've got milltek resonated and I LOVE it. It is so bloody quiet, and the tips look nicest of all the exhausts I think.
If you want something with bit more growl, save 100 bucks and get milltek non-resonated. I've heard Neuspeed AND Borla, and I prefer mine.

EDIT: and Milltek is 2.75" with a 2.5" DP.
