is the neuspeed chip for the 30v 2.8 v6 worth it? They claim 5-7whp increase and its on north american autosport's web site for a reasonable price.

10 hp + 10 foot/pounds of torque increase, and sharper throttle response, I say thats a pretty good deal, im sure youll notice the difference. I hear everyone saying that its not worth it, and that they dont know anyone who has been happy with a chipped 2.8, but everyone on this forum has a 1.8t, I've never heard anyone post anything about their chipped 2.8...

well i kno u probably have to send ur stock ecu in to have it programmed, can u drive the car without the stock ecu in? im not familiar with chips at all so i dont kno how this works.

 

i forget who on here just did it but they said it was worth it. I think gIAC hp increase is crank so i think they increase around the same. read this review

 

no, without the ECU you cannot drive your car

 

u cant drive the car with out the ECU but it usualy only takes wut one business day to be sent back
so it would take about 2 days back and forth

 

remmber hes in australia so u shoudl expect like around 5-6 days.
