Hey guys my name is mike, Iv been looking at these forums for quite a while and decided into getting a 01 or 02 A4.. At first i was looking to buy a 02 WRX but being in these forums for the past month it has come to mind that the A4 is a overall much better car... my budget would be around 12-maybe a little under 15 was wondering if i can pick up a 01 or 02 with that kind of price and another question would you pick a 01 or 02. i personally like the b5 look so much better but the b6 just looks so mean with a kit on i dunno im still debating wondering if you guys can help me.. How much did you guys pick up ur 01 or 02 and how much mileage thanks guys sorry for the long post !

 

you can pick up a nice 01 w/ 50-60k miles for about 12k

 

niceee i would have about 2.5k to have fun with

 

Just make sure you buy the 1.8 if you want to have fun.

 

Not quite 2.5K to have fun with. Figure 1K in repairs that you don't know you need when you buy the car, keep 1000 in the bank for emergencies, and you have 500 left for a chip.
