EXACTLY WHATS PARTS+TOOLS FOR KO3 REPLACE?
I am replacing my ko3 cause its blown , with another ko3. I do not have money for the ko4 upgrade.
I might be getting this used ko3 in the mail within a week if the deal follows through.
The person I got it from is upgrading to a ko4 so he might be giving me his old ko3.
What exactly do I need parts wise to put it on?
Also what tools do i need?
If this was discussed , please post a link for me with a thread discussing tools/parts and directions.
Thanx!

Dude, i responded to your post about a DIY for your turbo removal/replacement with a link to an article that tells you what tools you need and exactly how to do it... This was discussed 2 days ago when you first asked about it!
My bad, it was 3 days ago: https://www.audiforums.com/m_321443/tm.htm

The only thing I noticed about that article is it shows a picture of what tools you need but it doesnt list them. Im not that good to know off hand what all that stuff is =( . Thats why I started surfing more for better instructions. I most likely will buy the bentley manual and try using that instead..... i appreciate your time and help =)))))
you dont need anything speacial really... Just a ratchet with extentions and socket bits/screw dirver/open ended wrenches.. Just basic tools really. Make sure you get some PB blaster and spray all the bolts that hold the turbo to the manifold/cat really well. make sure you have new gaskets/bolts for the new turbo.
gaskets are a must, you can order em from www.ecstuning.com in their exaust section
the only pita is getting to the bolts that hold the turbo to the cat, and getting the oil return line fished back through, make sure you get a new gasget for that too!!!
a good thing to mark is what is oil and what is coolant on the turbo right when you dissconect the lines, mixing them up could be desasterous...
i did the swap with a buddy in a day, pick up about 10 feet of vacume line from your local auto parts store and just repladce whatever lines you take off, piece of mind counts for alot...
godspeed
