I just bought a 2004 a4 i.8t and i want to find out if there are any mods on the car because it feels like it has way more power than 170hp. I bought it from a dealership so they couldnt tell me anything. I can really hear the turbo when i get on it, is this normal?

 

sounds like it's chipped. should get a VAG on it and check your MAF (g/s) readings.

 

Umm sorry to sound stupid but whats a VAG?

 

ifu bought it from the an offical AUDI dealer then i highly doubt its chipped
but if its off a regualr used car lot then maybe
u can get a boost gauge, stock booost holds at 0.5 bars
