Default New a4

Hey guys, i'm thinking of buying a 2000 a4. Right now i have a 2005 wrx and the payments and insurance are killing me. So i was hoping that there were performance upgrades that you guys could tell me about. I'm looking specificall for an up and down pipe, if there is such a thing. and what sort of turbo and front mount upgrades you can go with. Hopefully you all can help me out cuz i've never had an audi before and i'm not a big fan of stock cars.

Thanks,
Steve

There are down pipes you can get a test pipe which deletes the cat and then run a custom or cat back exhaust. a4s have a lot of potential for chipping and turbo upgrades, a fmic is very possible but you mise-well get a bigger turbo first so you can notice the benefits more. As for Up pipe I don’t know what exactly you mean but I’m gunna guess that you mean intake, as far as that goes unless you go ***** out with the carbino which is like 350 its kind of pointless as the stock stuff works really well

Couple things-
The motor is longitudinal, so there is no up-pipe. The cat is bolted directly to the turbo.
There are fmic's available, but you will most likely lose power if you use one with the puny stock turbo.
There a few turbo options available. Check out Jestnomen's links on the A4 section page.
The 2000 A4 1.8t comes with 150hp turbo 4 cylinder. A $500 chip will get you 50 hp and about 80 lbs of torque.

Do Not Use A BOV On Audis!!!

Oh yeah, welcome to the forums.

Sorry for any spelling mistakes. My left arm is kinda messed up right now.
