Default New A4 here =D few questions

Hi guys, just got my A4 about 2 weeks ago and am loving it. I do have a few questions regarding the car though. I've searched though some old post a bit but still have some questions.

1. My oil temp gauge is always reading 150. When the key is in the ignition it does move a bit up to 150 from below 150 but it never really goes up. I'm pretty sure this isn't normal. Any suggestions?

2. When driving hard the car revs a bit between shifting. i.e. when pulling in 3rd gear to about 4000 rpm and i step down on the clutch the engine revs up to around 4500 rpm before going back down. Is this due to the turbo or something else? Is this normal?

3. The car pulls much harder than what i thought it should (not complaining though) but I think maybe the car is chipped. Is there a way for me to tell?

4. Are the D2S HID light kits better than the H7 kits? It seems the the H7 kits would be easier to install but it seems that a lot of people here still go with the D2S retrofit kits from oemhid.com. Is there a reason for this?

Thanks in advance guys!

bout the rev jumping, the clutch disengages fairly high ( gotta let it out pretty far ) so youre most likely not letting off the gas completely before the clutch is disengaged..causing the revs to jump. sounds like its just bad shifting.

I thought that maybe it was bad shifting too so i tested it. I rev'd up to 4000 and just clutch all the way in without gassing. Still the same problem.

So no word on why the D2S HID kit is better than the H7's?
