Hello! Tonight I just picked up my 02 Audi A4 3.0 quattro. So far I love the car but have some basic questions (the car did not include the original manual)
[ol][*]What are the three buttons/switches for that are on the driver's side door. I know one of them opens the trunk but I dont understand what the other two do[*]It appears that the person that owned the car before me set an alarm to beep when the car hits 65MPH... how do I disable this or raise it?[/ol]Thanks!

 

lol, the alarm that beeps can be re adjusted, its a set speed that you set that lets you know when your speeding... it can be changed by pushing on the right hand toggle thingy on your gauge cluster, thats how it is on my 2001 anyways.

and the buttons im not sure. i dont have anything like that on mine. sorry

 

The other two buttons on the door are:
1) turn off motion sensor part of the alarm system. So when you leave your dog in the car he will not set off the alarm as he jumps around inside
2) disables the alarm when the car gets towed (senses inclination)

Its in the owner's manual explained better, if you have it.

The third button is the trunk lid release.

 

Where is the one to release fuelcover? I couldn't findsomething like thaton driver side.

 

haha there isn't one. u push on the right side of the fuel door and it opens. that surprised me when i got ma car too. i was like y isn't there a button to open the trunk and fuel door on a 30k car? lol

mine's a 01 so it's doesn't have the trunk release
