I was under the impression all a4's had the outside temp guage in the instrument cluster..... I test drove one today that didn't have one but it looks like theres a spot for it? I'm confused because when I turn the key no light or anything turns on where I would expect it to be....

97. How would i turn it on?

 

on the wiper stalk there are little buttons i think, i dont know for sure cuz its a 97 and i had a 99.5 so it may be a little different

 

there are none there it doesnt have the obc and **** but when i look in the manual it shows where the gear selection for a auto would be and under that the temp gauge. could it be a fuse that went out causing it not to turn on?
