All you BOV haters!!! Yes they work, you just need to pick the right ones. And no, you wont run rich, blow anything up, or any of the sad lies above.

Finally good info above...bout time!

If you want a BOV, YES, a BOV, then get the Forge 004. Lots of people run them on B6 1.8t A4's with no problems whatsoever and the data logs to prove it. For that info, however, you'll have to search other audi forums because here it is still a propaganda-driven no-no to run a BOV.

Does anyone actually have any REAL data logging to prove either??? I always hear people say it's been proven. Well if it is where is the evidence???

People put a BOV on and feel the problems that happen before adaptation take over. YES, you will run rich for a day or two (need to log a few miles) then after adaptation you will run just like you did before, JUST LOUDER!

Trust me, i know

you realize many people run them (both vw and audi) and have 0....YES 0 ill effects on the motor. All you need is a bov that stays closed at idle and your good. Normal bov's stay open at idle, forge 004 a twin piston bov and a ssqv, both stay closed and you will be fine.

Im sick of having these discussions with people that have such a closed mindthat theyrefuse to believe what others ARE doing. Makesmy head hurt after awhile.
