Always been a VAG fan (only ever owned VW's, but thought it was time for an upgrade)

Just traded in my 95 Jetta (and selling privatly my 87 Scirocco) for a 97 A4 1.8T Quattro with only 70k miles for a good price (under 10k). I'll just say Im quite happy with the purchase.

If there are any "need to know" things about this car you guys could throw my way, feel free. Also if there are any newb advice for aftermarket equipment, feel free to shoot that my way also (and yes, I am also doing plenty of research on here, so no need to tell me to use the search button =) )

And here are some pictures for your viewing pleasure. If theres anything else you want to see, dont hesitate to ask

(PS. Also posted in the New Members area, but that doesnt seem to be too active so I'm posting here so the other A4 guys can get a look )

Congrats on the car!! If the timing belt, water pump, thermostats ect weren't changed yet, make that your #1 Priority to do so ASAP...

Awesome. I would look into ecodes, updating tails and sidemarkers, and wheels and suspension. Oh yeah and a chip of course.

Nice - Was it already debadged when you bought it, or was that your first mod. I've never seen those wheels before either. Congratulations!

Already done

Now I just need to figure out exactly how much that would cost for the parts (the one site I saw them at was a bit confusing for the newb in me)

That was already done, which I'm glad for. I can spend more time concentrating on the serious stuff
