Default NEw Audi owner

Hi all i ahve just bought a 1996 audi 1.8t a4 and have a couple of questions.

From what i have been reading the most common dv valves are the forge ones as i can see are they just plumback bov's? as they arent very common in new zealand where i live im wondering if i can just use a plumback bov instead.

Also im lucky enough not to worry about cat's and any sort of emission testing which is great and so im wondering what would chip would best suit my needs.. i have been looking at the GIAC chips and the Revo sps 1 as well but maybe somone can recomend a better one. seeing as though i dont have to worry bout emissions the cat is coming out and a full exhaust will be installed from what i have read a 2.75 inch exhaust is best.

well, when you get a chip, youl'll want a DV.

Why not just order one off the web? can you get one shipped out to you somehow?

You can also use the stock DV from an audi TT, maybe that would be easier for you to find.

GIAC is supposed to have better programming.

2.75 should work well.

Availability shouldn't be an issue, you can order direct from Forge UK if there isn't a dealer in your area. The main advantage of our valves is that they are tunable via springs to handle from 5-30 psi and beyond, also they have a lifetime warranty.
