Default NEW TO AUDIs...

alright im looking for an audi a4
99.5- 01 body style.

can you guys please tell me what i should know- and maybe some sweet sites.
whats the best- gas mileage, performance? best mods. i want a turbo- what the best way to deal with that? i want an s4 but thats just tooo expensive.
thanks- anything is appreciated

well from what you've said It sounds like the 1.8T is what your looking for, Highly modable. decent gas millage. they have just about everything out for them, Now we just need mor details on what your looking for in one of those and also If you find one that you like post up a link and we'll give you our opinion. good to have you wanting to join the family.

ha awesome thanks man, i was thinkin the 1.8- how much power can i expect out of that. and how does the turbo hold up?

Depends how crazy you want to get.

first get one with quattro and manual These cars have 150 to 170 HP depending on your.

A chip (500 dollars) will raise HP to approx 205.

Bolt on K04-15 turbo, chip, high pressure FPR, exhaust will get you about 240 HP for about 2000 dollars (plus installation).

From there you would have to go for stand alone programming and a garrett turbo.

I have the original K03 turbo, the APR stage I chip, and 145 thousand miles (65K with chip)

Or you could just buy my car and all the good mods are already done to it short of a bigger turbo

if you sell it for less than 10,000- in california- and paint it black- and put on some five spoke 19 or 18 inch wheels....


whiich reminds me- what size wheels can i fit? will they affect anything.... thanks

19s look good actually with the sport suspension. Look a couple threads down for the author "Beermod".
