Default NEW CAR!

Alright as many of you remember me from my newb days with my 98' 2.8L. well when i bought the car i didnt excpect to get this into the A4. so what i am saying is its basically its all your fault that i sold my red one, bought a new one that is 1.8T, now going to make me dump a rediculous amount of time and money into it. But i cant wait for the memories that are going to come from it.

Ok here is what i got, sorry i took some pics but my battery died so i cant post any but i will be sure to do that tomorrow.
2000 silver 1.8TQM
Black pleather with bose sound
heated seats and sunroof

the 3 things i wanted that came as a bonus that i didnt have in my old car is the "leather" seats, heated seats, and sunroof. ( how did i live with out them in Mich)

alright now iwht this said i have a few questions as i am new to the 1.8T and the 2000 year of A4

1.) can i take the amber reflecter things out of my one peice headlights and just keep the bulbs? im pretty sure its been mentioned before but i couldnt find it.
2.) should i even bother replacing the secondary air pump? its triggering my CEL and all it does is pump fresh air into the exhaust right?
3.) is it normal that the cat and turbo give off a ton of heat after driving it? thats it for now anything else someone wants to add feel free and also sling me some mod ideas as soon as i post the pics.

dammit i knew i forgot something, the main reason i posted. do i need the front brake pads with the sensors. i know they will work just fine with out them but i dont want to have a break warning on every time i start the car if i buy the ones without the sensors. thanks

Have fun with the new car, and yes you can take out the amber piece theres a diy or write up around the site some where im sure you could find it with some more searching, i dont know about the air pump but as far as the heat from the cat and turbo i dont know exactly how hot its supposed to be but mine seems to give out a ton of heat after driving as well but i guess thats to be expected from a turbo.
