New to clutch and Audi world...

Hey guyz watz gud??? i just bought 2006 Audi A4 and itz my first clutch car so my question is... At which rpms do u switch gears at??? i do about 2500 to 3000 rmps is that good or bad??? or is it average???

thats fine.....you'll be banging thru the gears in no time.....you can probably be fine till like 4400 rpm

haha cmon donnit be nice. jin youre good where youre at for smooth driving but when your engine is broken in and you wanna punch it you can shift up at redline.

Only messing with you Jin. If it's your first manual tranny then just cruise and get a feel for the car under brakes and aound corners but there is no need to go over 4000rpm for the first 1-2k miles. Generally speaking they say you don't have to run our cars in very long if at all but I alway take it easy for about 3k miles & change the oil at least twice in that time as well. Post some pics of your car dude. We always like to see other peoples rides.
