Default new clutch & LWFW!!

Okay, fijnally got it done. new 7 kilo LWFW (steel), new pressureplate with 740 kilos/inch travel (over the 400 something stock) and a relativly conservative friction material.

starting? holy ****! i stalled it in the d@mn shop parking lot. when letting out, its super easy, then all the suddenly it geta hard (its so you can sit with ur foot down and your leg wont get tired, thats y sudi;s have a long clutch throw but high grab point). the annoying thing is rtight when it gets hard and jerks ur leg, it grabbs, so its a b!tch to start. but its getting easier, like everything. once i get used to it i shouldnt even notice it

as for the LWFW, there is NO chatter WHAT SO EVER. its SILENT. and the feel omg...the power is so much mroe instant! its responcive and clean. when i press the gas, it goes. when i let off, it slows down. there isnt a huge delay when i let off the gas while the car is still accellerating and its sluggish slowing down. i absolutly LOVE it. no noise, amazing feel...

verdict? GET ONE. the reason some people have chatter...is because they went with an aluminum llike 5 pound flywheel! thats y there is chatter. get a 11-14lb flywheel and a clutch its ment to go with. dont get em seperate. if u get em together, they were designed for eachother and work great. i love it...

so yours is probably as stiff as mine. does it feel like it has 10000000 springs shooting the clutch out at you?

it feels like 1000000 springs once it kicks about half way through

and a stock replacement costs $2100 (the quote i got form audi) and i spend $2090 with a new breather hose from 2bennett. its their clutch. not sure what the kit would be called. its their own one.

iono abotu how much harder/easier. you wouldnt be able to do it on your own without lifting ur car off the ground so you can drop the subframe out and such.
