im gettin a custom built exhaust either this week or next when the credit card comes in. should i spend the extra $100 now and get a 3" or is that gunna slo my car down? i kno the whole back pressure thing and i need it now and everything but i am gunna go BT at some point so idk if i should just get the 3" now.

 

I went to a custom place. The cost for the exhaust set up wasn't going to save me enough money to do it. The AWE exhaust is 925 + Install. Looking at like $1100 or so. The custom was $750. Still pretty expensive. I would rather save up and get something proven and that looks good, rather than getting a custom set up that will look only so-so. However, I'm not sure which car you have, and if it only has one muffler it may not matter as much. Plus, I'm very picky.

 

nahh im gunna buy a muffler and the rest is probably gunna be custom built for only $300. i think i might just cut out all the resinators and thats only like $150 for the whole thing. im not sure what im gunna do but the credit card came in today so its probably gunna happen this weekend.

 

AWE sounds better right off the bat, but when the milltek system breaks in, it sounds way better than AWE. and the tips are a lot sexier

and the reason why i asked about quattro earlier is cause i've never seen an exhaust to fit the b7 fwd, so you would have to go custom.

 

i put my exhaust today. i went with magnaflows. i wanted AWE cuz i liked how it sounded but i had to wait for it to be shipped and i didnt feel like waiting. ill post some pics.

no i dnt have the AWE. u think im stupid to put magnaflows instead of the AWE. HELL NO!!!!

 

yea he also told you that it had to be adjusted all the time if i remeber correctly. not sure he is the most reliable source. what kind of dealer is he,, meth or coke?? but anyway, the miltek is pure sex.
