Default New exhaust in my future!

Well I dropped the A4 off this morning for service and to find why i have this bad grinding noise at 4000 rpm, turns out the left muffler is decaying away inside and causing metal to vibrate. Audi claims mufflers arent a warranty item they come under wear and tear items (i dont see how you consider mufflers to be in the same category with brake pads but oh well). I'm thinking Magnaflow, i can get the whole system done for just over 400, but i am also thinking about neuspeed since i already have the neuspeed program in the car. Any thoughts of which you'd guys prefer?

Lol, apr, milltek? lol theres alot of options, but y neuspeed, i have their
chip, i hate it ! I dont think Neuspeed puts as much effort into their
products as other companies that focus only on audis and vw's. Borla?
sound real nice, and oh in response to that plastic cover, i think its a
access to the fuel pump, but no worries, thnx for the help.

yeah, nuespeed isnt the best performance company but i heard a o4 1.8t with neuspeed exhaust last week and i snapped my neck when i heard it drive down the road. The guy pulled into shopping center next to me. I asked him about it, by the sound i thought he had the 3.0.

Do some searching here - there was a post about exhaust sounds - including a link to sound samples.. I'm sure there are a few writeups about it

techtonics tuning uses their own stainless steel piping and borla turbo mufflers. that is another option for you. i love my exhaust.
