Hey guys, new to the forum. I've got an early 05 1.8t fwd. I've had my audi for a while. I haven't done too much to it.. it was base model so i stuck in leather seats from a wrecked audi off ebay, lowered with tein, put some AT italia wheels and powdercoated them a satin black. Blacked out windows. I cut out the resonators and thats about it. Obviously i like to do the cheap ways! I work at STS Turbo and plan on putting a remote mount kit on this summer. One quick question.. anybody have any experience with these HID replacements? these

they are a bit cheap.. i understand you wanting to save money, but you would get a gaurantee if you went with someone like visionbulbs.com
along with a discount for audiforum members you can get the kit for 200 bucks

the car looks great so far, just a shame you didnt get quattro

and as far as putting the sts system on, what is the purpous for this on an already turbo charged car ? aside from the killer deal you are probably getting

would you remove the stock turbo ? and run the remote system ?
i wouldnt imagine an engine with a turbo would creat enough constant pressure for another turbo to be run with it ?

i got tein s line which said worked with my stock struts. It rides much better than i thought.. close to stock with no body roll. Best investment on the car. and to the previous, yeah the stock turbo will be removed. sorry i didn't answer that in the first reply.

the car looks sweet.
quesetion about the sts turbo system. y do it when you could just put a bt where the one now is? because that will require lots less piping. and some weigh savings
