New to the forums and new to Audi.
I would just like to say hi.
The lease on my IS300 was coming up to its end and I was looking into something a little more family oriented, but still be sporty. Didn't want to get an SUV, I am not a big fan of them and I needed something more than a sedan. I found exactly what I needed in the A4 Avant. So, that is exactly what I chose and this past Thursday, Ipicked upmy 2007 A4 Avant quattro2.0T in Ibis White. Premium, Convenience and Cold Weather package. Love the car.
Here are some pics I took last night:

Will be upgrading the ECU in the near future. The dealer I got my car also has a tuning shop and they do all sorts of upgrades including the ECU and guaranteed it will not void the warranty. The chip they use is from GIAC and from what I have read about them, they are pretty good. This upgrade is the best bang for the buck.
The car did not come with the Xenons, so I am definitely looking at swapping the bulbs. Problem is I don't know which brand is good. I do have an idea of what I want, for example I don't want the extremely blue lights (8000K), something closer to the 4200K range. I would appreciate any assistance with this.
Anyways, that is my little intro, hope to hear from some of you soon.

Thanks for the comments.
As for the software, I am going with GIAC as that is what the tuning shop uses and they cover the warranty if any issues arise from it.
This past Saturday, the manager took me out for a drive in one of their chipped A3's 2.0Twith DSG.First off, thatis oneslick transmission, the gear changes are so quick. The performance increase over the stock A3was pretty impressive. I know not to expect the same performance gains with the A4, but it shouldn't be too far off.

Beautiful car!
You should see the same gains as you did in the A3... the A3 will be faster than your A4, but the difference should be the same! You'll see about a 20-25% increase in power.
vvme.com was the website for cheap Xenons... I think I might go 6000k, as they'll likely match my OEM 4300k. Sounds weird, but I think cheaper aftermarket HID kits are pretty bad with their color temperature ratings.

Well, it helps to have good forum communities to see what other people experienced and see what they have. Hopefully, learn from their mistakes and prevent history from repeating itself. From the posts I have been reading this is a very close knit group and very helpful too.
