How did you debadged on the rear? It looks really clean!

for the debadging i actually just used some heat from a hair dryer and some string. after i got the badges off i used this stuff similar to goo gone by 3m (the guy @ schucks says it was better) to take off all the glue. Then i clear coated the trunk there. and then waxed it.

fishing line works very well..it cuts the badge away and doesnt damage the paint.

if you do it right there will be very little tape stuck to the car

swift, looks good, i like it. you should photoshop that grill pic and see what it looks like glossy, you might like it better...since your car's surface is glossy, i think it would match better.

i used fishing line, dental floss, and string....and fishing line is definitely the easiest to work with...but string works pretty well too, it just breaks more often...floss is WORTHLESS. and a heatgun or hair dryer is also a must.

Or, you could wait until mine dries. I did basically the same think with my grille today (school canceled b/c of snow, woot) I just left the rings silver, and used 3 glossy coats instead of flat black.

yuikio, are you going to apply a clear coat or just the gloss black?

gloss black. It's super shiny, though. I can get a picture quickly, if you want. It's drying in my garage.

Laser Red. B5. Gonna try to paint the 'quattro' emblem and slap that puppy on tonight. Right now I'm rocking the bent Kamei grill from the previous owner...makes me cringe. It has a big hole for the hood catch and everything. Ugh.
