I've got to say 400 is a bit much, you'll also need special tuning. You can get custom rods and pistons from JE I think... or eagle

I'm still coming up empty... I'll just have xxtuning where I am tell me what really is capable...

Is it strange that from a dead stop, both cars redlining, my car stock at the time, his car atleast an exhaust (350z), I had him up to 80 miles an hour... I really need to keep my video camera with my on racing weekends... No missed gears on either end

And this is the reason why I would like to pursue it to 400 whp... Anybody can have a s4, 350z, gto and blow by you and you're like well no **** they're suppose to do that... I'd rather have the car that's not suppose to be able to do that and have people be like whatthe hell just happened. That's why i'm really interest in pursuing this goal.

I would trade it for an S4 or 1.8t, spend the same amount of money you plan on spending on the 2.8 and have a race horse. Of course, if I had it to do all over again, I'd buy an S4 but I'm not complaining because I don't really race anymore, just like to see people in my rearview!

i think your going to need just about all custom stuff for this build. for suspension get h&r, kw, or staisis coilovers. brakes i would get some 355mm stop tech or brembo.

Why spend the money on beefing up the engine formaybe 40 extra hp when you can get a supercharger for the same price, get more than double the hp gain, and have it be reliable on stock internals.? But whatever you do, or however you get the 400 whp, keep us updated. Everyone will want to see it get done since its one of those things that people onlytalk about/wish for and its sort of a"we'll believe it when we see it" kind of thing.

Yeah i'm going tomorrow to get a few more parts installed at xxtuning and i'm going to talk to them on what they can do for me... Like I said it's not a daily driver and i'm sure that they will custom fab some parts for the right money like you're saying... I already know about the supercharger but I would like to have that as the last thing that I do... I'll let you guys know what they say tomorrow as far as what they believe they're capable... They build rediculous car so this might intrigue someone there to help me out in my goals...

You might also want to talk to KMD tuning.

If you want to build this engine right call Bill Schimmel at Schimmel Performance. His website is www.spturbo.com Bill wil not lead you astray. He knows what you will need and has built some crazy cars. He's a nice guy. He's busy as hell though. Shoot him an email and he'll usually respond within a day or two.
Bill is the king of the VR6 motor which ain't much different than the Audi 2.8. He is your best option to get the answers you want.

Alright so this is what i've got so far aside from not getting in contact with Bill Schimmel yet... I've been told that no matter if I port the exhaust/ intake manifold and work with the throttle body it won't really matter because the cat is only going to allow so much air flow through... So if that's the case it makes sense with why you guys are telling me to just supercharge... But is there any way to work it out so that an extremely high amount of air is allowed to pass through besides what the cat really allows it to?
