so i just hit 47k on my 01 a4 1.8t and im 200 miles away from service,.. i really hate to take it to the dealer and pay out the *** for and oil change and tire rotation am i better off doin it myself ? stick with the synthetic oil and where should i buy my oil, filter,and drain plug gasket from ? thanks

a oil change is super easy bro, tire rotation...not so easy by yourself w/o a lift. buy mobil 1 synthetic, 10w 30, or 5w 30 depending on where you live and how cold it gets. oil filter, never get anything but audi direct....you'll get mad oil leaks from others ( by experience)...and i didnt think there was such thing as a drain plug gasket.
