99.5's don't have the same radio setup as the 00-01

 

Well I guess I'll take your word for it, nevermind..........

 

99.5's are hard to come by and alot of peps don't know what they have when selling....They are a ndbw aeb block with big port heads that take better to mods than other 1.8T's.

 

I agree. DBW is a bit less responsive. But then again ya learn somthing everyday. I assumed that the facelift of the '99.5-'01 was everything. even the radio/climate stuff. Give me a break, I have had my B7 so long; I forget the little things.

On a side note, tomorrow, we(chicagoland) will be getting about an inch of Ice on the road followed by snow.
