I currently have a 98 gt but i was looking into an audi. i was thinking an Audi between the years 98-02 a4 quattro. it has to have the v6 turbo, AWD, and be manual. just wonder what are the ups and downs for these cars, and when I go look at some, what should i be looking for, so i know that im gonna be getting a good car. im willing to spend up 7-8k grand on one, is that enought?
thanks

Be prepared to spend some money. Also there is no A4 thats v6 with turbo thats from 98 and 99 i think idk if they started to make them in 2000 i have to look that up but i dont feel like it, you would have to go with an S4 or RS4 the A4s you would have to get a 1.8T which is a inline-4 with turbo thats the only way so again more money...

In my opinion these cars are great, they ride smooth, dont have many problems, but when a problem occurs sometimes you think its something different then what the actually problems are these cars trick you alot . But other then that, there fun to drive and even when gaining big HP there still quiet cars and can look nice at the same time...If it soounds like im going on and on im sorry i just woke up from a nap but you should get my point

no... no v6 turbo a4 ever... 1.8t is the way to go for modding... and you can def afford one for around 8 grand.

You probably want an S4. Only A4 based car with the Bi-turbo V6. Be prepared to pay around 16k for one in average condition.

with 7-8k you could get a higher mileage 01 and older. no v6 turbo unless you want an s4 with 2 turbos but more money. get a 1.8t if you want to do any kind of mods to it
