if your doing this you can burn the clutch and kill you engine, learn how to drive stick
Wow, you really say some off the wall ****. How is starting out in 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or even 5th going to KILL your engine or hurt it in any way? Its not. You might not get off the line very fast, you might even stall and **** up your clutch, its definately not recomended, but its not going to hurt your engine. Geez.

yeah that wouldnt hurt the engine at all. as far as the noise goes it almost sounds like the gears are grinding in the video. you seem like a smart kid so would u kno if thats happening or have you never hear that b4? i remeber the first time i missed a gear in my pickup it scared the ish outta me and i pulled over to see if i fucced anything up. but you got a really good price on the car so even if you have to replace the clutch it sounds like you got a deal. good luck with it n welcome.

Thanks a lot for the kind words man. Today I had my dad 'investigate' the noise and he agrees that it's most likely the clutch on its way out. It is not slipping right now but I guess it is time to save all the paychecks for a new clutch. I guess you gotta pay to play... =D
