I had them on my a4 and I loved them. They were great on water and dry pavement. Not so good in the snow though

Hey, I have them on my 17's right now as we speak. Yeah deffinently have to have different tires for the winter but in regular weather they are great, I feel like I grip to everything. Its a very sporty tire I think.

I agree with the idea to check out tirerack for the reviews. Give them a call. Honestly, they are some of the most helpful guys around. They don't rush you, know everything about their products (many of the guys have tested the products in the Tirerack test facility and test track themselves), and they're really cool guys, too. ---> 888-541-1777

I've been in the market for summer tires (those Kuhmos are on my short-list) and the guy I talked to at Tirerack wasn't helpful at all. Basically just told me what I already knew, and of course recommended the most expensive one on the list.

SlowB5, I'm in the same boat as you, looking for some 17 summer rubber. You looking at the Ecsta SPT (ultra-high performance) or the Exsta MX (Max perf). I've looking at the Ecsta SPT, the Avon Techs, or the Fuzions.

I'm gonna talk to a different guy at tirerack Monday
