New scratches
Hey all,
Well, it got up around 65 this weekend in upstate NY, so I decided to do a through wash. The problem with the first wash of the season is you discover all the new dings, chips and scratches.
The picture is my newest...its not all that big, but its enough to annoy me. Now here's the part I'm not sure about...the chip in the picture is on the passenger side, but its on the 3-inch wide strip in the middle of the door that runs down the length of the car, its not on the actual door itself (i'm having a brain-fart on the terminology...its not the lowers).

Does that mean its just exposed plastic, not exposed metal? I can definitely feel the indentation, so I'm unsure if I can repair it myself. Dab it with a paint pen and call it day, or is that going to look bootleg?
I'm thinking of having a pro fix the 15-inch key scratch on my trunk (goes right through my frickin rings!!) but THAT'S another story...I may have him deal with the ding in my door at the same time.
Any input would be cool...and I swear I searched.

Hahha, touche. I noticed that when i took the picture. The job is a little stressful these days, so I can either chew on my nails, or drink/smoke/sniff glue :-)
Maybe I'll take the money I had saved for my RS4 grill and put it towards a manicure.....but stock grills are turn-offs for chicks as well.
Paintscratch.com, here I come...

Forget the forums, why can't there be more people like me just in general? Me and my slow-*** car are so freakin awesome :-)
