Not sure what the laws for tint are in the states, but in Canada its 35 in the front two, and unlimited in the back. Do you have any cop trouble(if the laws are similar), also do you have any trouble seeing at night?

but then again, we all have tints, and some are pretty dark as the matter of fact...
in other words, F*ck the po-po!!
Yeah, we'll have to see where things go from here on out.
I didn't have tint on my previous 330i and the 330i that I had before that only had 35% on them and it seemed pretty light.
2 things:
1. If you see a cop - roll a window down!
2. Generally speaking, the cop is not pulling you for the tint.
He's pulling you for something else, and if he chooses, you're getting nailed for the tint in addition to the original violation.

Law in California is you can not tint the front at all, but a lot of cops don't really enforce it. Having a very dark tint where they can't see in will have a higher chance of getting pulled over. It also depends on what city, some are more forgiving than others
