i just had the same deal. did extensive research on it, since i want good rubber for my bucks, Since Goodyear does notmake the Assurance Triple thread in 205/55/16 i went wit the comfort thread. I went through a lot of tires, but this one is the best i have EVER had. tirerack , i think sells for $89 ea plus shipping. If you are near Sears, they are for $84 for sale this week. You WILL feel the difference!!!!!

A local shop here is selling pilot sport AS in 17" sizes for 150 CDN dollars, rediculously cheap! I've driven pilots, potenza's, falkens, pirelli's, and dunlops... and NOTHING BEATS FIRESTONE FIREHAWK SZ50 EP's. They are discontinued, and sort of hard to find... but my lord, are they worth it. Best rain tire ever, snow is scary, but what are you gonna do... 340 tread wear. Cant beat em! They were a super expensive tire, but IF you can find them, they are often on sale because they are discontinued.

I know that the BF t/a's were rated very high. they have two styles a wet and dry, and a stricley dry,
you might want to look into them. Also the tred patern is real neat .

if your only looking for fair-weather tires i LOVE my Michilin Piolit Sports (225/45/17) !!!!
but keep in mind that these are not an all-season tire and if you choose to mount them i wouldn't do ANY snow driving with them on.
But for a summer tire, they are EXCELLENT!!
Great grip, handling, feel
