Hey guys i am kinnda of newb but i was wondering i have been looking on the net and i cant seem to find a cone air filter upgrade for the A4 can some one hook me up with a link to where i whould be able to order this

Yeah man... cone filters will get you nothing but that annoying "wooosh" sound... and yeah, heatsoak is no good. You'll pull in hotter air, which means less power... you won't feel a loss of power likely, as it'll be pulling in more air... but yeah, it's not worth it.

You want a nice intake? Carbonio. Rediculously expensive... but they claim they insulate against the heat, and they are damned nice looking.

 

Will The Carbonio Air intake give me the BOV sound?

To answer your question though... in the hopes that you will shell out the money and support a great company (although for the wrong reasons...)... YES... you will hear your diverter valve more, with the carbonio intake.

 

get a new dv also
