Hi,
I have a 99.5 2.8 Quattro Auto, with ABS light on and brake light flashing w/ 3 beeps at startup.

I've searched etc. and figured it's the ABS module.

But today I realized that there is no Fuse in slot 16 on the fusebox, which my manual says is the ABS Fuse!
Not only is there no fuse, but there's no connectors in there, I can't even put a fuse in, it's an empty slot completely.

Is there an ABS fuse somewhere else, or is my manual just wrong? What's going on?

I don't have a fuse in my ABS slot, but the ABS system works perfectly in my car. Maybe there was a slight mixup?

 

i dont have an abs slot in my 99 either but as mentioned my abs works just fine

 

Yeah, if there are no connectors, then there isn't supposed to be a fuse there.
