why does my car only show 4lbs. of boost on my guage? the car feels a little slower. what the deal guys?

 

boost leak? pop the hood and run a test to check it.. you might be able to hear it...after reading your sig, i think it is a boost leak for sure your chipped its common to spring a leak here and there when boosting more pressure.

 

is it maybe a DV valve?

 

That's the "hard" limp mode. My guess is the N75 is shot, disconnected, or the wires are broke at the connector to the N75. Check the car for codes; with boost that low I bet you have at least one.

 

did you replace your DV when you got chipped? how long have you been chipped? my guess is DV.

 

your at 4lbs of boost and your car only feels a "little slower" ... WTF.. 12+ lbs of boost missing and you barely feel it?

maybe a bad line to the boost guage... a leak there could make it a little slower on boost

 

4 lbs in stock mode. i never replace the DV. i dont hear any leaks. WFT

 

O yeah it nevers drops below 0

 

ahh stock mode.. stock boost is what 7-9? check for leaks, or a busted DV

 

Im calling it... its the DV... Why didnt you replace the dv when you chipped those mods should be done at the sametime. get a new dv and youll be good to go... dont get a cheap one... go forge or balieys... those type of companies I got a forge and im loving it..
