14psi is alot for not being chipped, i think they lied to you, stock is ~8, they would have to tap into a line to get a boost reading and then replace the line. Hope everything works out.

my boost solinoide was bad/ broke in half that is y the boost was at 14pounds it is all fixed now only cost me a 100 bucks
