i have a 99.5 1.8T and i dont have a cd player (just cassette). I was wondering if i could get a 2001 style Audi radio and make it fit. What would i have to do to make it fit flush with the other components(climate control and ashtray)

yea im pretty sure. Ive looked threw the whole car and never saw one. the owner before me also had put in a pioneer radio probably becuase there wasnt one but do u know if i could fit the 2001 radios in the 99.5 dash. 2001 looks like it may be too big

the 2001 is about twice the size of a 99.5 so unless you do some modding then no. I would like a cd in dash too but I dont think audi made one that will fit my concert deck, so Ill deal with the cd changer.
