Ok so I changed the LCA on the passenger side on Wednesday night and everything went really well. Once the old one was out you could tell the outer joint was pretty messed up. The only thing thats bugging me is the brake light came on this morning for a little bit and then decided to go out.
I didn't take the brakes apart but I checked out the pads/rotors and everything looked good. It's probably nothing serious but just thought I'd ask. -Peter

I remember when I changed my breaks, I had to clip the wires for the break pad sensor. Once you clip it, you have to close the circuit otherwise the light will stay on. It is probably like onepoint8tee said - the wire came loose.
You could have accidentally yanked on the wire without knowing pulling the connection partly out of your pad. If its loose in the pad, it may periodically turn on and off.

I was trying to be careful with the wires and I didn't disconnect them. Just thought it was kinda strange the light came on this morning and then went back off. If I did pull the wire that attaches to the brake pad or sensor can it be reconnected? I'll have to look at it later...

I think you can slide it back in the back into the hole in the pad. If it will stay in there is another story. Might as well just snip it and close the circuit. You'll know when your pads are worn down as they start to squeel.
