hey guys ive had my a4 since last october and didnt get an owners manual with it. now that its gettin warm out i want to use my a.c. but i dont know how to turn it on. my car is a 99.5 so if anyony has this year with the same consoul please tell me how to turn it on. also the two buttons right above the radio, i know 1 is for the fog lights what is the other 1 for(i think heated mirrors). third button i just found is the 1 on the drivers side between the front and rear door, i heard this is some kinda of sensor should the light on that be on or off and what dose this do.

 

Set the temperature to low. Make sure the Econ button is off. A/C should work.

 

thats what i tried yesterday although i didnt let it run very long so it didnt get cold , i tyr again today

 

Just as a side note...here, buy an Owner's Manual also (not sure if 99.5 would qualify as 2000, or 1999, so heres both manuals)

It might be low on R134A.

 

should be full on freon, accident last winter so they said it was all refilled
