Default No Sound

Ok, so i have no sound coming from my stereo. At first it just started out that my front driver side speakers didnt work, but no biggy i wanted to invest in some mods before i did that. Now i have no sound coming out of any speaker. The head unit functions 100% normal just no sound coming out.

Yes i tried turning it up so i dont need to hear that one.

Oh and also my CD changer doesnt work either. The CD changer still has power cause i can take the magazine in and out but when i try and select the cdc option on the head-unit its like its not even there and doesnt light up or anything.

Yes, i have the bose system, any info would help and be useful. Thanks

Open driver's door. Remove panel from side of dashboard.

ok, so i checked my fuses and where the radio fuse should be theres nothing. Theres actually a few fuses missing but other than the radio eveything works fine. The radio still turns on but no sound at all. And it worked fine before until now

put a fuse in there, that is a start, put a fuse everywhere one is missing that would be a good second option, but you say your h/u works fine then you say the cdc button doesn't work, doesn't sound fine to me

if you kn ow nothing about stereo equipment take it to a stereo shop, not best buy or cc or any place like that, a store that only deals in audio

After you check the fuses, find someone with a real vagcom and have them scan the radio for codes.

If your driver speaker wasnt working at first it could have been from a lose wire and it the wires in the back of the speaker come out and touch it will freez up all of your speakers until you seperate them. check the wiring by the door speaker for a short.
