Noob lookin for an A4, which year?

Default Noob lookin for an A4, which year?
So i am lookin to buy an A4 1.8T, which years do i want and which do i not?

get a 99.5, all the cosmetic upgrades, with the older non-dbw setup...

agree with panda, 2001 for the extra hp to start off with, flashloader capable for programing or the giac x-chip

Go with the 01.5 has 20 HP more then the older models...20 more is 20 more!!!

i believe the 170hp motor has less gains when you start modding (i may be wrong, i'm no expert)...and aren't the 01s the most common year for sludge problems?
