Before you get all mod crazy..just to let you know...changing pretty much anything in the engine is gonna void your warranty. Chipping will void your warranty unless you get an alternate ECU to swap in and out. A dealer could void certain warranty work if you get new exhaust. A turbo upgrade will definitly void your warranty. yadda yadda yadda....etc etc etc...

Yeah, our platform is still fairly new... Get a GIAC chip and some injectors and you will notice a big difference... Those are the best value for your money

Transverse, thats not really true. Warrenty goes by dealer to dealer, like my dealer, Audi of HV will not void warrenty unless something damages the transmission or MAF sensor. Chips are fine as long as your return it to the dealer and they can put their programs on top of it. I could install my new DV and not have it void my warrenty. When speaking to your dealer about warrenties it's always best to speak to someone in service about it, they're the ones that know what they're talking about.

Go with GIAC chip and injectors. But if you really want a lot of power go with AWE's GT28R turbo kit which is not out yet but will be coming out soon. It's worth the wait.

S Angel, wait for AWE's stage 3 GT28RS kit to come out, it should be out by March or so give them a call and find out. You'll get about 350 crank HP with that kit.

This quote is straight from AZ posted by Todd Sager, president of AWE Tuning.

"Here is my cut and pasted response:

Stage 1: Garrett GT28R, stock exhaust manifold and intercooler used. Hi flow injectors (edit: we're trying to keep that spec secret, as we spent a lot of time researching injectors), metal core catalyst, MAF, all install hardware and gaskets, proprietary GIAC chip programming. In field testing at this point. ~223 all wheel hp on our Mustang dyno. A FMIC will be optional, and should yield ~240 all wheel hp when the chip is finalized. The dyno sheet shown here is this configuration before chip optimization. Translates to ~290 crank hp.

Price estimate without intercooler: $3599

Stage 2: Same kit as above, except with a higher flow exhaust manifold. An upgraded intercooler will be highly recommended at this point. Possibly a crank horsepower output of 320hp.

Pricing: TBA

Stage 3: Same kit as above, except with GT28RS turbo. This will tradeoff some low end power for more high end power, but should allow us to see power levels approaching 350 crank hp.

Pricing: TBA

We are building each stage to be modular to allow purchasers of lower stages to easily upgrade to higher stages as their wallet permits them!"
