Default Noob question--RIMS

2003 A4 1.8T.. Looking at buying HP EVO Hyper Silver Dark, and need specs for my model. (I don't have a manual for my model)

18" x 9" 38mm offset and 5x112 bolt pattern <==Would this fit my model front and back? would it hurt to do 18x9 in back and 18x8 in front?

Thanks,

Do you have Quattro? If you have quattro you have to use the same size rims, or you're supposed to at least. It is bad for an AWD car to use different size rims.

Yes, quattro, sorry. Will 18x9's fit a B6 front and back? I found a good deal on them, that's why I'm so specific to the 18x9. Thanks..

Yeesh, don't know if you can fit a 9" up front with a 38mm offset... maybe... but yeah, tough call.
I run 8.5" fronts on a B5 with a perfect 32mm offset... B6's have more room, though. Are you lowered?

Yeah, tough call... My dad has CH's on stock sport, which are 8.5... but 32mm offset on them, too. I've never jacked it up to see what kind of clearance he has on the inside. It'll be the inside where you may rub, with 9" tires and 38mm offset.

8.5 with a 35mm offset is very common, but 9" is gonna be a squeeze. I would call tire rack or some company that sells rims. They should be able to tell you if they'll fit or not.[sm=icon_cheers.gif]
