Does any one knw wat after market chip can be switched back
to stock?

There reason I asking is I have a Nos Kit that I want to install in my 99 A4 2.8
and I dont want to run it with an aftermarket chip as it Advances the timing way too
much to run Nos

And I dont feel like swapping out the ECUs every time I want to run on the Bottel ...

 

y even get the chip if ur gonna run nos?????

 

i think apr's chip can be switched back to stock using the cruse contole button

 

I dont want to run Nos all the time just when I need it to smoke big guns
but for normal driving the chip will do

 

first of all u have a 2.8 i say dont even bother chipping IMO

 

even wit nos u wont be smokin any big guns.

hmmmm dave if i get chipped i see great gains like
30-38 hp and 55-60 ft-lbs gain wit giac

and the giac a 2.8 will get only 6-9 hp and 6-9 ft-lbs gains

hmm is it 6-9 hp and 6-9 ft-lbs worth that extra 300 Dave
it might be to someone but not me
