Default Not again...

So here it goes,

I was driving up a fairly steep hill today (slowly, because I hate pot holes) And after I got to the top I noticed a knocking sound coming from the back of the car. Its not very loud, but its loud enough to be able to hear it. Here is the interesting part. It only happends between 10 and 50 km/h. Aside from that I can't really hear it. It also seems to get louder when I'm slowing down without using the brake. Also, when I use the brake, it makes no difference to the sound at all. My mechanic said it might be a shaft bearing. I hope this isn't going to be a major problem. Any insight would be great!

interesting? bearing noises get louder with speed so could be an anti roll bar issue, most common is the bushings

Well... after some searching around the car I discovered that it was in fact a screw stuck in my tire [&:]. I can't believe that it sounded the way it did though. So I got the screw removed and my tire fixed. Now all is well. So, if you ever have some knocking noise comming from the back of your A4... check for screws! [8D]
